I finally finished school, and from now on I will concentrarte solely on music, and I will try to get something out this year... I'll be visiting London again next month, so excited!

Back from the north!

 I'm back from a holiday in northern Finland where my family lives. I visited Tornio, Kemi and Haaparanta with my mum, little sister and friend Siri. It was fun to see everyone, especially my godmother and her son who live all the way in Norway, so I rarely get to meet them. I got to practise my portrait drawing skills and drew both of them while we were visiting my grandmother. I forgot to give them to them though, but luckily I can take a picture and send them to them via email or something. We also met our godmother's family's cat Tytti (a funny name, since he is a male cat!) and my grandfather's cat Miisu 2nd, who was only about 8 months old, a few months younger than our cat Momo. A hawk had attacked Miisu but he is a supercat and killed the hawk instead! Coolest kitty ever.
I also went to Ropecon 2014 (my first Ropecon, whoo!) and it was so much fun! Our Disney's Atlantis- cosplay group won the first price in the group category in their cosplay competition. I'm going to make a separate post about that weekend, because otherwise this post would get too crowded.
My dad also brought his new Korg synthesizer to our house and we connected it with my old electric piano, so now I have a new and better sound to my piano.

How has your summer been?

Catlady

My mother and sister are still in Japan and I'm turning into a big catlady. I pretty much just hang out with my cat all day long! I've been drawing again, and I'll probably post some of my drawings here pretty soon. I even got around drawing a new banner for this blog. If I only had a better camera I could perhaps start writing on here more seriously.

 I'm finally free from school work, I'm so relieved! I still have some final exams to take this autumn, but apart from that it's all over for a while. I'll take a year off from everything and concentrate on making music and drawing etc. That reminds me, I should really make a new banner for this blog! I'd also like to find a band to play my songs with me and maybe start performing in places.

 I'll also focus on getting better health-wise.

I'm back!

Hello! I realized I haven't updated this blog in ages and decided now is as good a time as any to begin again.
A lot has obviously happened since I wrote in here. I haven't graduated yet but I'm having my finals this spring and the last ones this fall. Right now I'm desperately trying to learn Swedish through reading fashion and vintage blogs written in Swedish. So if anyone has links to some great Swedish blogs I'd be eternally grateful! Though right now I'm getting kind of distracted with writing this blog post and listening to the Phantom of the Opera musical...

I guess I could start with showing what I look like nowadays:

I apologize for the crappy quality of the pictures, my web-camera sucks. These are the two hairstyles I wear mostly nowdays. Yes my hair is yellow- kind of... I wanted to go back to blonde but removing the red dye is easier said than done. So I'm stuck with this for now. As you can see I also cut my hair. It's not really that short but for me that's dramatically short. And actually I kind of like it!

We also have a cat now! Her name is Momo and she is 8 months old. She's the most adorable kitten I've ever met. We took her in when she was just 9 weeks old because her mother had died, poor thing. Now she's a very lively and active little thing who's jumping all over our furniture and even on top of our bookshelves. And she jumped into the christmas tree from there as well...

Next time I'll post pictures of my trip to London with friends that we made last summer. This summer we're planning a group trip back to Oslo to see my godmother and her son. And my sister and mother are going to Japan!
